World Class waves

There’s hardly a country more blessed with world class waves than Indonesia. Bali is the most well known tourist destination for surfers, and it’s easy to see why: World class waves for surfers of all levels.

Located on the Bukit peninsula (the south of bali) 2 hours away from the busy streets and beaches of Kuta, Seminyak and Canggu is the charming Balinese surf town of Bingin.

This Bali Surf Hotel in Bingin will be a uniqye place for surfers to stay

How to get there

Denpasar airport (DPS) is a major airport with 100’s of international flights coming in on a daily basis.

Bingin is only 1 hour drive south of the airport. Far enough away from the mass tourism of Kuta, Semniyak and Canggu.

The Waves

The Bukit has a ton of different surf spots.

Here’s are some of the more well known ones:

Great beach, ideal for surfers of all levels

Nice white sandy beach, good for intermediate surfers

On the lower tides and with medium to big swell, this is one of the most consistent waves in the world. Perfect barrels. On high tides it’s also very suitable for intermediate and beginner surfers.

The is where the surf accommodation is hosted.

Padang Padang
The main break of Padang is one of the world’s best left hand barrels, for experts only.
Inside Padang is a mellow spot , ideal for beginners and intermediate surfers
Padang Padang

Fast & tricky wave for intermediate and expert surfers.

Bali Surf Adventure

Surfing in Bali has always been on my wish list. April 2018 is when i went to Bali Surf camp. The location in Bingin is perfect; a large variety of waves all close by. Bingin has perfect beginner and intermediate waves on the mid and high tide so caught my first green wave at Bingin.

The town of Bignin still has the local small villa vibe. Great restaurants and nightlife are all within walking distance to the Bingin surf camp.

The beach is stunning.

Highly recommended!
